And so, the King of all creation came down from His heavenly throne, and gave it all up to be with us. He did it for me, and He did it for you. But that was not the end. 1, 2, 3--and death was defeated. The most solemn event in history, yet this was the start of the greatest victory--over even death itself. Our hope, found in Him. Thank You so much, Lord Jesus, for Your sacrifice, when we could do nothing to save ourselves. "Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes, we are healed." Blessings this Good Friday.
